Canvas and cuisine…the art of the fresh market
My new series…I’m so excited! When I see fresh markets I go crazy taking photos…so I decided to create a series…these square ones are 36″x36″…the pears are 30″x40…all in acrylic… My great friend Jorj Morgan (who is a chef extraordinaire and publisher of five cookbooks) is going to collaborate with me on this project… 100 paintings/300 recipes…our goal is to self publish by the end of 2016…
Soooo this is a beginning… Encaustic…12″x12″… I’m so absorbed with the nuance… I can’t continue… I mean it is DELICIOUS what happens with wax with heat!
Another 12″x12″ encaustic… So very moving to me… It’s all about how it feels to be able to bring something into existence that would never have been… Without me! Sounding like Donald Trump!
